Here's how cancer began my journey to become a Life Coach...
I've been working with Fearless Living since 2015 when I started the LCCP Program and I successfully graduated November 2016. I want to tell you a little bit about what brought me to Fearless Living.
I did watch Rhonda in Starting Over House a long time ago but that wasn't really the catalyst that brought me to the program in 2015.
That year I was diagnosed with melanoma which was really a shocking and terrifying diagnosis and something where I really had to sit down and do a reality check with myself.
If I was to pass away from this disease you know at 46 years old had I lived my life to the fullest? Had I done everything I wanted to do? Is this it? Was I ready? And it was really a resounding no.
After I finished surgery, I decided I needed to do something to really connect back to my soul and do something very sacred for myself so I traveled to Kripalu in Massachusetts to attend a three-day workshop on Fearless Living because frankly, I was afraid.
I really needed some support and anything I could think of, or do, to really give myself some tools or some information so I didn't feel so alone and I didn't feel so afraid - it was going to be very beneficial to me.
My First Workshop
I went to this three-day workshop and just really had the experience of a lifetime. I said I want to change my life and she [Rhonda] really gave us the foundational tools and the information that we needed in that workshop to get us moving forward. At least a few steps for me.
But it was really eye-opening to learn that I had so much fear in my life and all the different ways that it was showing up for me.
It was a really tremendous experience and it started me on the path of working with Rhonda.
Within a month, I went to my next workshop which was the FFW (Fearless Foundation Workshop) and had again just built on the tools I learned in this three-day workshop and had a tremendous experience and was able to do something that I've never done before and that was to really be vulnerable and share parts of myself that I hadn't opened up to anyone before in the past.
So I decide to sign up for the coaching program and I jumped right in.
Three Phases of the LCCP
Phase One [of the LCCP] was really eye-opening and really life-changing. It was phenomenal.
When I went into Phase Two [of the LCCP] - where you're actually learning to coach clients and you actually take clients on- I was scared again but scared is good, right? Because you're stepping out of your comfort zone. You're taking risks. So for me, that was a fantastic experience and I'm still working with some of those clients.
Actually the first two clients I started working with, I'm still working with them today. You build a relationship with them, you get to know them, you dig deeper into the things that are happening with them and are able to move them forward in their life.
Then, Phase Three [of the LCCP] was just an amazing experience.
You get to do book groups and intro talks and you're just continuing to build relationships with the other coaches that are out there. It's a support network. It isn't like a lot of places where you would go and there are large groups of women working together.
Fearless Living is an opportunity for you to work with women that are supportive and encouraging and really just want you to be the best you can be and share that you with your clients, and with the world.
Going through the Life Coach Certification Program was one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life and it was life-changing.Trish March, Certified Fearless Living Coach (CFLC) and Certified Fearless Trainer (CFT)
