Do you have questions? Well, we’ve got answers!
Say hello to Larissa Jaye, Director of Certifications at the Fearless Living Institute. As the head of the Life Coach Certification Program since 2013 – as well as a Master and Mentor Certified Fearless Living Coach herself – Larissa is super-passionate about supporting our Program Candidates in becoming more of who they’re really meant to be, as they discover everything that the LCCP has to offer.
Larissa loves chatting about the LCCP, and she knows the ins and outs of our program better than anyone – so who better to help me answer your questions? If you’re wondering if becoming a Coach could be your next big step towards freedom, we invite you to explore more information below.
Check out the answers to some of the most popular questions we hear from people just like you.
How long is the Life Coach Certification Program (LCCP)?
The LCCP is a comprehensive 9-month program, structured around each month. Even though 9 months might sound like a long time, it goes by fast!
By the way, we want you to be certain the LCCP is the best program for you so what better way to experience Fearless Living for yourself.
That’s why we have a prerequisite.
To help you be certain.
Do the work first and then you’ll KNOW if the LCCP is you next best step. The prerequisite is where you’ll get a personal experience of the Fearless Living work.
When you move on to the LCCP, you’ll start sharing that work with others, as you begin to work with real-life Study Clients.
Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to start charging your clients – so you’ll actually be making money as a Coach while you’re still in the program!
As you become more confident, you’re going to put everything together to build your business.
So when you graduate, we aim for you step seamlessly from the program into your career – and for most of our PCs, that means completing the program with anywhere from 3-6 active clients on board.
Not interested in building a business? If you want to add coaching skills to your current career, the LCCP is perfect for you too! We’ve had judges, doctors, ministers, police officers, nurses and so many more graduate from our program.
Coaching skills are going to be mandatory for the future. Don’t be left behind.
How many people are accepted into each class?
What is the time commitment for the LCCP?
Most of our students come to the LCCP with all kinds of other important priorities in their lives – work, family, hobbies, etc. – and we want you to have that kind of full life.
In terms of the amount of time to set aside for the LCCP, just know that what you put into the program is what you get out of it. So your time commitment is going to vary based on your choices there.
Are you the kind of person who likes to write one or two sentences to a short-answer question? Or are you somebody who likes to write a paragraph, or a few pages?
That kind of thing is really what’s going to determine how much time you choose to devote to the LCCP. That said, most of our students report dedicating between 10-15 hours per week to the program.
Just remember, what you put into it is what you get out of it.
Can I do the LCCP while I have a full-time job?
The most important thing to consider is this: Do you have enough space to make this program a priority in your life?
Because remember, this could be a new career that you’re moving towards. We’re talking about your passion and your purpose. Do you have enough room in your life for that?
One of the great things to keep in mind about life coaching is that it can be an ideal secondary career – one you can start while you’re holding down an existing job, and gradually transition into – since you get to make the hours.
As a Life Coach, you’re the boss…and your schedule is entirely your own.
Will there be any extra costs that come up once I’m in the program?
Well, so do we – that’s why we make sure that everything you need to complete the LCCP is already included in your tuition.
That means all of your classes, all of your live events, all of your mentoring…everything is included in your tuition.
The only thing you’re responsible for beyond that? Travel and lodging for our three in-person workshops together.
How are the materials delivered?
As a student in the LCCP, you’re going to be meeting with your classmates and instructors in real-time: on the phone, in-person twice (for two three-day workshops), and online.
Plus, you’ll get access to a huge online library of training materials to support you in becoming the best Coach that you can be. And you’re encouraged to download all of it for reference in the program and beyond.
What are the dates of the LCCP live events?
We love your proactivity – in fact, that might make you a great candidate for this program!
To get all of the exact dates that you need for our upcoming class, make sure to ask your Admissions Associate.
Get ready to put the Fearless Foundation Workshop, the Fearless Conversations Workshop, and the FLI Coaches’ Retreat on your calendar, and to start making your travel plans now!
How much money can I make as a Certified Fearless Living Coach?
But that’s only the beginning – because once you graduate, your session rate is entirely up to you.
We’ve seen new Coaches charge anywhere from $75…to $100…to $200..to $250 or more for their sessions – so truly anything is possible.
We provide the foundation, and you provide the dream.

Plus, you’ll be ahead of the game when it comes to joining our next class! Either way, we’ll look forward to seeing you there…
What will it be like once I graduate as a Certified Fearless Living Coach (CFLC)?
Will I be able to integrate my own work with Fearless Living?
Are there any CFLCs close to where I live?
Are coaching templates provided? And am I required to use them?
What if I already have a busy life beyond work?
Do you have any advanced training available after I graduate as a CFLC?
Can I really make money while I’m still in the program?
Can I work with my own Life Coach while I’m in the LCCP?
As a student in the LCCP, will I get a chance to work directly with Rhonda?
You’ll have the opportunity to learn directly from Rhonda at our live events that are included as part of your LCCP training. Additionally, as a student in the program, you’re going to be having a one-on-one mentoring session with her – and ultimately, Rhonda is the one who is going to tell you whether or not you graduate as a Certified Fearless Living Coach…way at the end of the program, when she reviews your Final Exams. There are lots of other options for touch-points with Rhonda as well – when you’re a student in the program, and then later on when you become a CFLC too: From our annual FLI Coaches’ Retreat, to our quarterly All-Calls for all of the Coaches in our community, to other online courses and live events too.
What if I have second thoughts about becoming a Coach after the program starts?
It’s one more reason your first step is to complete the prerequisite for the LCCP because once you do that, you’ll KNOW if it’s right for you.
What if I want to work with a therapist?
I’ve never owned my own business before. Can I succeed at this?
Yes, you CAN do this! Whether you have prior experience in owning your own business, or whether this is the first time that you’re ever giving it any serious thought, know that this is entirely possible for you – and we’ve got you set up to succeed. Our program is laid out to help you embody and integrate the tools and skills of Fearless Living and yes, a part of our program is devoted entirely to business-building.
And we’re not talking about just any old kind of business-building here either – we’re talking about Fearless Living business-building.
That means that we’re going to get you into your heart, and we’re going to build your business from the truest expression of who you really are.
So if you feel worried, or scared, or anything else “negative” when it comes to concepts like advertising…or finding the right clients …or making sales in the world of coaching – have no fear, because we’re going to get you there.
We have all the know-how and support that you need to build your own business from an empowered place of fearlessness.
What if I live outside of the US? Can I still apply to the LCCP?
I already work as a certified helping professional. Is the LCCP right for me?
